Almost all of our products are made to order by hand, and as such, we require a few weeks to lovingly create your wearable work of art. Hand fabricated custom pieces and/or bespoke fine jewelry pieces usually require 4-6 weeks. Holiday orders may require a little bit more time due to volume during the busy season. Lifestyle line pieces require 2-4 weeks. Any lifestyle line items in existing inventory will ship within two business days after order is received.

Shipping for Lifestyle Line items and custom-made hand-fabricated items is $10 flat rate within the US. Outside the US, please message us and we will provide a quote for shipping and any necessary taxes and fees. Shipping for bespoke fine jewelry is included in the quote and is always sent via expedited, insured shipping. All items are insured, which is included in your shipping cost.

Because all items are custom made, we do not issue refunds. It is critical that you provide the correct size if ordering a ring, as we are unable to resize a ring that does not fit. For fine jewelry, you have multiple points in the process to review and approve before we move into production. For hand-fabricated custom pieces, if we miss the mark and you can't bring yourself to love your piece, we promise to work with you on a solution so you get a piece that you completely adore. For non-custom lifestyle items, you have up to 30 days to return for an exchange or store credit. All of our products include a 12-month warranty against manufacturing flaws. We are delighted you'd like to gift Arete Adorned! At the moment, we are working on a solution to provide gift cards, but until we have one, please email us, and we will work out a way for you to give someone a gift voucher.

The images shown on our site are our proprietary designs that have not yet been produced, as all of our fine jewelry is made to order. Because there are many variables in this process, it is impossible to give an accurate estimate until we begin the design process. These variables include, but aren't limited to, type of metal used, type and grade of stone(s), and total number of stones. We know that can be daunting, but the beauty of this process is that we can work with you to create a piece you love that also fits your budget! Serious inquires require a $500 deposit for us to create a 3D model of your design, at which point an estimate is provided and we make any necessary modifications based on your preferences and budgetary requirements.

All precious gemstones (such as diamonds and natural stones like sapphires, emeralds, rubies, etc.) are ethically sourced from trusted partners. All diamonds are certified conflict free. Precious gemstones are accompanied by documentation verifying their authenticity.
